“Perhaps the earth can teach us...” ~ Pablo Neruda
In this season of reflection and renewal, I bring you the Lenten Rose.
I’ve been sharing and thinking a lot this week of the affirmational beauty of nature.
How better to express that, from my heart to yours, than with the first blooms of the new year?
My family is recovering from a loss, this season of love.
Yet, the world is blooming around us with the magic of early Spring.
What can one say, as we transition through the seasons of the year, of life, other than, “Thank you…”
Thank you
for the beauty, for the love, for memories made and to come
for yesterday and tomorrow
for now.
Thank you
for waking and finding each day I’m blessed to know
the precious beauty of life.
For photographers following my 365 Challenge, here are the details:
All images shot hand-held with my Nikon D7100, natural light, subjects backlit, shot from the ground (beneath the blooms).
