I feel when I shoot.
And like my stories when I’m writing, more often than not the images I capture find me rather than the other way around.
Except for flowers.
I wanted my work in healing spaces. And, at least for women’s healing spaces, art consultants are looking for flowers. So I learned how to shoot soft focus, close focus, macro, abstract, whatever it took. As creatively yet representationally as possible.
I fell in love with the hope of the journey.
Enjoy this latest Dahlia collection, captured from a friend’s fading garden. They may be the last of the season. But they have game.
